We just spent three solid days in Rifle getting absolutely beat down. I took about five pictures the whole trip, mainly because I was either a) dangling from a rope trying to get up a climb or b) too destroyed to even pick up a camera. Here is one of those five shots, an image of my wife, Rannveig Aamodt, on Pump-O-Rama, a 5.13a in the Arsenal. Hopefully when we go back in a few weeks I’ll have a little more psych to take some pictures, but then again, maybe not. I’ve got a list of projects there a mile long, which means I’ll probably be thrashing and dangling for the rest of my life.
